1.A procedure where a doctor inserts a thin, flexible tube (endoscope) with a camera through the mouth to examine the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine (duodenum).
2.It helps detect conditions like ulcers, inflammation, tumors, or infections.

2.RUT (Rapid Urease Test)

1.A test performed during endoscopy to detect Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a bacteria that can cause gastritis, ulcers, and stomach cancer.
2.A small tissue sample (biopsy) from the stomach lining is taken and tested for urease, an enzyme produced by H. pylori.
3.If the test is positive, it confirms H. pylori infection, which can be treated with antibiotics.
