Overview: Dr Atif Ahmed S is esteemed gastroenterologist. After completing MBBS from JSS Medical College, Mysore, he went on to persue MD (Internal Medicine) from RGUHS, Bangalore. He was the best outgoing Medicine resident of the batch. He also persued DNB (Medicine) in the year 2017. Following which he has completed DrNB Gastroenterology from NBE Delhi , he has done Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at Manipal hospital.
His area of specialization is Interventional Gastroentrology, Liver disease, Pancreatic Disease, Inflammatory bowel disease like Ulcerative colitis and crohn's disease. He is skilled to perform various diagnostic & Therapeutic perocedures Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, capsule endoscopy, ERCP, Variceal Banding, Sclerotherapy, Glue Injection, polypectomy, PEG tube placement, NJ tube placement, Haemostatic procedures like clipping, APC. He has shown active participation in various CME's, workshops and national conferences across India.He has an experience of performing 20,000 plus diagnostic procedures and 2,000 plus Interventional procedures at various hospitals in Bangalore and across the state .
